Fall Retreat
A local fun weekend on Nov 6-7
A chance to grow closer to God and each other. Our focus will be Psalm 8 - IDENTITY: Who am I? Who am I supposed to be?
Cost $20 (cash or checks payable to Highlands). Bring $20 to potentially spend on Saturday afternoon.
You do not need to register.
Come to as much as you can!
COVID info - As usual, we will follow the Highlands guidelines that have been set. We will do most things outside. We will require masks in the vans, and if we must go inside. Once inside and social distanced (sitting or sleeping), there is the option to remove the mask.
Friday (Nov 6)
4:30pm Arrive @ The U
5pm Leave for the Heard’s Farm @ 3630 Williamson Rd, Clinton (Dinner, Lesson, Games, Bonfire)
9:30pm Return to The U to Hangout
11:30pm Goodnight! (Guys will sleep in Fellowship Hall, Girls in The U, plenty of room to spread out)
Saturday (Nov 7)
8:30am Breakfast and Lesson #2 @ The U
10am - 1pm Low Ropes & Lunch @ Ridgeland Trails
1 - 4pm Guys and Girls Activity TBD
4 - 6pm Games, Dinner, and Lesson #3 @ The U
6pm Leave for Winner’s Circle Park
9pm Pick Up @ The U
Packing List
Portable Chair for Friday PM at the Farm
Sleeping on Floor (air mattress and/or sleeping bag, pillow)
We don't have showers, but you can still brush your teeth!
Water Bottle
Clothes - Lots of activities outdoors including at night. So dress for the weather.
Shoes - Bring tennis shoes that you can run in and can get dirty for the games
Mask
No phones/electronics allowed during the weekend (including in the vans). The leaders will have their phones on them for communication to and from parents. Feel free to call Devin Kahan (601-497-0755) or Anna Grider (256-361-6801)
